Meeting Donations
At each of our monthly general meetings, we collect items for donation to various local charities. Below is a list of charities we have been proud to assist in the past.
2019-2020
September: Cash donations toward the future Makers Room in the new Scranton Memorial Library
October: New or gently used mens’ suits, button downs, slacks, coats, sweaters, belts, and packages of new underwear or new socks, to benefit Project Longevity and CT Violence Intervention Program.
November: Canned food items for the Madison Food Pantry
December: New and gently used children’s and teen’s books for Read to Grow
2017-2018
April: BH Care donations. Needs: new socks and undergarments, as well as any new andgently used clothing.
March: BH Care donations. Needs: new socks and undergarments, as well as any new andgently used clothing.
February: BH Care donations. Needs: new socks and undergarments, as well as any new andgently used clothing.
January: BH Care donations. Needs: new socks and undergarments, as well as any new andgently used clothing.
December: We are donating to the Annual Toy Collection which is run by the Madison Police Department. This year they are in need of books for children/teens ages 12-18.

October: We are donating to the Annual Toy Collection which is run by the Madison Police Department. This year they are in need of books for children/teens ages 12-18. We also supplied craft supplies for the children's tables at Baurer Park Festival. And promoted Monster March on Halloween!
2016-2017
June:We will continue to donate to the Bristol Child & Parent Center Caring Closet. We are accepting diapers size 1-6 (none loose), baby wash/shampoo, formula (requesting enfamil), wipes, clothing sizes up to 5T, infant/toddler food, children's books new or gently used ages up to 6.

April: We will continue to donate to the Bristol Child & Parent Center Caring Closet. We are accepting diapers size 1-6 (none loose), baby wash/shampoo, formula (requesting enfamil), wipes, clothing sizes up to 5T, infant/toddler food, children's books new or gently used ages up to 6. We will also be collecting clothes that may be nice enough for donating or consigning to decorate scarecrows at next years Bauer Park Fest.
March: (Meeting Canceled due to weather) We will continue to donate to the Bristol Child & Parent Center Caring Closet. December: This months donations will assist the Madison Exchange Club in supporting the Bristol Child & Parent Center Caring Closet by accepting donations including: diapers sizes 1-6 (none loose), baby wash/shampoo, formula (Requesting Enfamil), wipes, clothing sizes up to 5T, infant/toddler food, children's books new or gently used ages up to 6.
November: This month's donations will assist the Madison Exchange Club in supporting child abuse prevention. This month we asked for infant and children's clothing, both new and gently used, sizes up to 5T.
October: We collected for the Scranton Memorial Library items to help upcoming children's coloring club and craft supplies for their children's craft tables at both Baurer Park Festival and the Hammonassett Festival.
2015-2016
May: We collected gently used books and media for the Scranton Memorial Library Annual Used Book Sale! We also continued to collect cans of tuna for the Madison Food Pantry.
April: We collected supplies for the Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter and also continued to collect cans of tuna for the Madison Food Pantry.
March: We collected new and gently used sheets, blankets and towels for New Reach Shelter. We also continued to collect canned tuna for the Madison Food Pantry.
February: We collected new socks for local Seniors and continued to collect canned tuna for the Madison Food Pantry.
January: We collected warm clothing for BHcare. BHcare provides comprehensive behavioral health prevention and domestic violence services to the shoreline community.
December: We collected canned tuna for the Madison Food Pantry.
November: We collected toys for Yale New Haven Hospital's Toy Closet. We also collected canned tuna for the Madison Food Pantry.
October: We collected non-perishable goods for the Madison Food Pantry. Mitch Cohan from the Madison Food Pantry was our guest speaker.
September: We collected lined notebooks to be donated to the NICU at Yale New Haven Hospital, so that parents of children in the NICU can easily record information from their doctors.
